PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Exploration: Winter 2022 Classes
Winter is a magical time to explore nature! This class is designed to allow children to explore and learn about the natural world from inside, with outdoor exploration as temperatures permit. Learn about how animals survive the winter and why evergreens keep their leaves. Look for animal tracks and other signs of winter activity. Search the skies for winter birds and listen for their songs. Explore available food sources for active winter animals! In each class, we will focus on a specific theme using hands-on activities, crafts, games, and creative movement. Each class will end with a craft and a story. Come enjoy the beauty of winter with your energetic child at the Fairbanks Community Center in Sudbury!
PUDDLSTOMPERS will meet at the Fairbank Community Center for classes.
In the event of inclement weather and the PUDDLESTOMPERS class needs to be cancelled, an email will be sent out with the change of location prior to the start of the program.
Please make sure to bring:

PUDDLESTOMPERS is in compliance with all MA COVID-19 guidelines and protocols.

PUDDLESTOMPERS' mission is to connect the youngest naturalists, ages 2 to 8 (and their parents and caregivers) to the open spaces in their communities. By providing children and families with seeds of interest and tools of exploration, PUDDLESTOMPERS seeks to help build the foundation for a lifelong enjoyment, love of the outdoors, and a lasting stewardship of nature. A percentage of PUDDLESTOMPERS' revenues are given to the host towns to support local environmental education and/or conservation efforts.
