April Vacation Swim Lessons are designed to get your child ready for summer fun in the water and are dedicated to enhancing swimmer ability. These programs are 4 weekdays long (Tuesday - Friday), to make for a well paced course schedule and a shorter commitment than traditional 6 week lessons.
Instructors will be socially distanced teaching from the pool deck. 


SEA STAR
  6 months - 4 years- This program is for infants and toddlers to become more comfortable in an aquatic setting. Parents are in the water guided by an instructor on various holding and supporting techniques.Parents must be in the water with their child for the duration of class.

JELLYFISH 2.9 – 4 years-This program is for preschool aged children to obtain basic aquatic skills. Topics that will be covered are breath control, blowing bubbles, floating on back and front, and changing direction. Parents must be in the water with their child for the duration of class.

EELS 2.9 – 4 years-
Building off skills in Jellyfish, eels will focus on breath control, blowing bubbles, floating on front and back, and changing directions. 
Parents are required to be in the water with their child for the duration of the class.

MINNOWS 4+ years Students will focus on submerging the mouth, nose, and eyes, Furthermore, students will work towards opening their eyes underwater and retrieving objects underwater. Swimmers will learn float on their front and back using the motion from their arms and legs.
 
Parents are required to be in the water with their child for the duration of the class. 

SEALS 4+ years This course is for students that are able to fully submerge their faces into the water. Seals will focus on blowing bubbles, entering and exiting by themselves, and floating on front and back. Swimmers will learn to enter and exit independently along with learning to float independently. 
Parents must be in the water with their child for the duration of the class. 

DOLPHINS 4+ years This course is focused on jumping into deep water, bobbing to safety, sitting and kneeling dives, rotary breathing, and survival floating. Swimmers will work on flutter, dolphin, and breaststroke kicks. Elementary backstroke and the front crawl will be introduced.

WHALES 5+
Headfirst entries, surface dives, front crawl, and backstroke open turns, sidestroke, survival swimming, treading water, and butterfly will be introduced.

SHARKS 6+ years Front and back flip turns, tuck and pike surface dives, shallow angle dives with glides are introduced. Front and back crawl, elementary backstroke, sidestroke, and butterfly are the main focus of this course.
