  • Adult Pass: Parents must be present at the mountain while their child is skiing. If you want to ski, you can sign out one of the chaperone passes the day before your child's registered ski day. We only have (1) Tuesday pass and (1) Wednesday pass to share, so please be considerate of other families participating in the program. If the chaperone pass is unavailable, you may purchase a lift ticket.

Ski and Snowboard Lessons
  • Class Placement/Class Size: Students are evaluated on the first day of class, by a process called “Ski-Off.” All students are assessed by an on snow supervisor and placed into an appropriate class; students are divided by both age and ability. If a student feels they have been misplaced they can speak with an on snow supervisor and be re-tested. Nashoba Valley suggests students arrive 15 minutes in advance of the testing time on the first day. Class size can be up to 10 students with 1 instructor. Students are allowed to switch their lesson from ski to snowboard or from snowboard to ski during the first 2 weeks. After week 2 students will not be allowed to switch their lesson type.
  • Lesson Meeting Place: Ski lessons meet out on the snow in front of the Rental Shop; snowboard lessons meet beyond the beginner area, near the black double chair lift. Please note that classes may begin and end on different slopes, please make sure to plan a meeting place specific to your group. All Tuesday and Wednesday lessons start at 5:30 PM and run 1-hour.
