Meditation

Meditation can be done in a chair or seated or on a yoga mat or pillow. Calm your mind, settle your body and find a softer focus to your day. Beginners to practicing meditators will benefit from this class. This class consists of beginning breath work (pranayama exercises) Mudras (hand exercises) and gentle stretching. It will continue with short breaks with discussions on bringing meditation into our daily lives in addition to seated guided meditation from traditions that include: walking meditation, mantra meditation, guided imagery, and mindfulness. This practice will surely find the student a place of peace.
