Woodworking is a fun way for kids to become inventors, think innovative, develop math skills, and understand mechanical and spatial relationships. This class is held in a workshop where kids learn to safely use real tools. Students get a chance to experiment with materials and choose a project to build. Through the building process, they learn how to work with wood and various tools including sandpaper, crosscut saw, files, and hammers. Safety is stressed every lesson and will always be a top priority.
