Headquartered in Brookline Massachusetts since 1993, Viking Sports is one of Massachusetts’ largest sports recreation companies offering services for kids to adults throughout the state. We are a sports company who pride ourselves on being specialists of fun. We believe that fun should be the main component of a sports community, and we believe that this sports community should be available to all. The positive developmental benefits of being involved in an active and friendly community like Viking Sports is beneficial across all domains of functioning. Socially children learn to interact with their peers and adult figures other than their parents/guardians. Emotionally children learn how to deal with wins and losses and conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. Physically we allow your children to get to their ideal level of exercise in a way that motivates them to acquire the value of this component of health early on. In all of these ways, Viking Sports facilitates the successful progression its participants of all ages in reaching lifelong developmental milestones. We want every child and every parent in the Viking Sports community to feel important. We keep all of our members in the loop through our social media, our email blasts, flyers, updates to our website and events at our Activity Center. What sets Viking Sports apart from other coaching or sports companies is that we offer programs that encourage an active, healthy lifestyle for all. We have programs for adults as well as children because development is a lifelong process. One of our main goals here at Viking Sports that also sets us apart is for our Specialists of Fun to reach members of the greater community from all walks of life. For example, we offer a consignment business to make sporting equipment more readily available and affordable to all. We offer tutoring services to help meet the academic developmental needs that are necessary to engage in sporting activities. We also offer private lessons and groups to children and adults with disabilities to give them opportunities they might not otherwise have. Private lessons and birthday parties with our coaches are offered as additional services to our business model.
