Played similar to the game of soccer, power soccer is a sport designed specifically for people using power wheelchairs. Plastic soccer guards are attached to participant’s wheelchairs and are used to maneuver, kick, and pass a 13" soccer ball around on a regulation size basketball court. This team sport teaches skills while fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and sportsmanship and is an appropriate fit for anyone that can independently and safely maneuver their own chair.
