lifeguard certification
This course provides entry level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing, cardiac emergencies, injuries, sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over. 
Prerequisites:  Minimum age 15 years; swim 300 yards continuously, using front crawl and breast stroke.  Tread water for 2 minutes and complete a timed swim and retrieval of a 10 pound object in under a 1 minute and 40 seconds.  Participants that successfully complete the lifeguarding course will receive an American red Cross certificate for  Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR&AED, and is valid for 2 years.

What to Bring
Participants, should bring an extra towel, a sweat shirt, snacks, lunch and water.

Refund Policy
NO refunds will be given due to failure of prerequisite or failure of the lifeguard course.
